Kale Chips

This recipe is a perfect alternative for those who love potato chips! And it is SO easy to make!

1 med head of kale (any variety)
1 ½ tbsp olive oil

Mix all the ingredients below together to form a thick sauce
¼ c Perky Original or Pro 
1 ½ tsp garlic herb seasoning
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tbsp gluten free tamari

What to do: 
Wash and tear kale with hands put kale in a large bowl. Massage olive oil into kale leaves and let sit while you prepare the sauce. Mix all sauce ingredients together then massage it into the kale making sure all the leaves are coated.

Dehydrator Directions:
Spread kale leaves on dehydrator sheet giving the leaves room put them on two trays so it’s not too crowded and kale can dry evenly. Dehydrate for 4-6 hours @ 110-120 degrees until texture is the desired crispness of your choice.

Conventional Oven:
Set oven at lowest possible temperature. Spread kale leaves onto a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 3-4 hours –checking them @ 2 hours and then baking until desired crispness.
