Warm Braised Perky Carrots
6 sm-med fresh (from your veg box) carrots julienned
1 clove chopped garlic
1-2 tbsp your favorite oil (we used ½ avo oil and ½ ghee)
2 tbsp Original or Pro Perky Powder
½ tsp mineral salt
2-3 leaves of mint chopped (or parsley)
½ c any stock of your choice
Throwing it together:
In a saute pan, heat your oil of choice, add in the garlic and saute for 2 mins., then add in the julienned carrots, add in stock and simmer for 5-7 mins. Until carrots start to soften. Mix in Perky and simmer another 3-4 mins. Sprinkle in salt then pull carrots off the heat and give 2-3 turns on your black pepper corn grinder then enjoy!!
