Perky Flax Crackers


Put a little burst of flavor into your regular salad with our Perky Flax Crackers!

2 ½ ground flax seed ( ½ dark and ½ Light)
1 ½ c yellow cherry tomatoes pureed in high speed blender
1/2 c Perky Powder Original or Pro 
1-2 garlic cloves chopped
1 tbsp Nomishoyu
2 tbl chia seeds
2-3 tbsp nutritional yeast
½ c water 

Dehydrator Prep:
In a large bowl mix all ingredients until combined. Cracker mixture should be wet and spreadable. On a Teflex sheet spread 1 cup of the mixture to ¼ inch, next score the cracker dough and put temp @ 105 degrees for 9 hours then flip them over taking a mesh sheet with tray then continue dehydrating for 6 hours more or until crackers have a crispy texture.

Conventional Oven Prep:
Turn oven on at lowest temp possible, on a large sheet pan and parchment paper spread cracker mixture ¼ inch thick (I like to use an angled frosting spreader). Score the dough into squares or rectangle shape. Cook crackers for 4-5 hours checking and then flipping over, continue cooking in oven for 4 hours or until they are crispy to your liking.
